Beware! Matthew 7:13-15

Jesus warned us… “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. Matthew 7:15

Your TV is filled with False Prophets But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words... 2 Peter 2:1-3

Matthew 8:20 OsteenBible God’s plan for you is that you don’t struggle in your finances… that you would be free from poverty…that you would not just ‘barely get by’ but have more than enough to pay your bills… Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you… Acts 3:6 OsteenBible God’s plan for you is that you don’t struggle in your finances… that you would be free from poverty…that you would not just ‘barely get by’ but have more than enough to pay your bills… …having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare.… 1 Timothy 6:8-9

Two Great Problems

Wrong view of Righteousness

Healthy & Rich = Right with God Poor or Sick = Not Right with God

Ignores Sin and Repentance

From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:18

So they went out and preached that people should repent. Mark 6:12

repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations Luke 24:47

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out Acts 3:19

Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. Acts 8:22

Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent Acts 17:30

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
