Ann Gamble (70 years old) ‘Carer Extraordinaire’ Q.Why did I become ‘Carer Extraordinaire’ plus ‘Secret Agent 00’70’? A. I love my mum I am a voluntary member of a campaigning group – Age Sector Platform – which represents 200,000 older people in Northern Ireland and has a Pensioners Parliament each year. I also care about all residents in nursing homes, in particular, because they are afraid to speak out (as are their relatives) and I support their rights to fair and equal treatment. I hate injustice – I am a voluntary member of other committees, in Health (3), Transport, PSNI, Patient & Client Council
