The limits in which an organism can adapt to stress factors are bound by parameters which are set by resources inside the body that should allow life preservation. Still, limits are dictated by genetic programming through the extreme situations which the body has encountered throughout it’s evolution and yet has not stopped surviving and multiplying. In intensive breeding, production override and other stress factors such as global warming led to the apparition of real adapting diseases expressed by nutritional and metabolic disorders which are difficult to diagnose and treat. Metaphilaxy is a modern concept which includes prophylactic measures to ensure animal welfare through zoo-hygienic confort, the selection of animals which are enduring to the new breeding techniques, control of morbid subclinical conditions (infections of the mammary gland, nutritional end metabolic disorders), birth rescheduling and others. Keywords: stress, technopathies, greenhouse effect gases, umoral level, metabolic profile tests, metaphylaxy Selective bibliography Lucian Ionita et al. Nanotechnology for improving transdermal drug delivery Cristina DINU PIRVU 1, Mirela MITU 1, Alina ORTAN 2, Lucian IONITA 3,4 Alexandru T. The rapid development of transdermal carriers in the past several years is due to the advantages of transdermic administration over the classic oral administration. The difficulty in transdermic administration is represented by skin penetration of the products, because skin, through it’s nature, acts as a barrier in controlling the loss of water, electrolytes and other substances and also in preventing the penetration of medical substances from the outside environment. In order to enhance skin permeability for transdermal portage of medical substances, several methods, both passive and active, have been developed. This review aims to examine classic and novel modalities for skin delivery of drugs, including the development of dermal/transdermal nanocarriers. Keywords: skin delivery, nanocarriers, transdermal carriers, liposomes, deformable vesicles, penetration enhancer Selective bibliography Cristina Dinu Parvu, Alina Ortan, Mircea Harjan, razvan prisada, Dumitru Lupuleasa, Alexandru T.
