 Born in Washington Court House, Ohio April 9, 1964  Her father was a farmer and her mother was a nurse  She wanted to have a career that was far out and “Only in dreams”  She grew up on a farm halfway between Washington Court House, Ohio and Sabina, Ohio

Margaret Peterson Haddix travels a lot since she is a writer. Many of her books include lots of traveling and some areas that are special to her. This shows that her writing and her life are connected. A few of the places she has been to are Wayne, Indiana, Indianapolis, and Danville Illinois.
