Multiplying and Dividing Decimals

You can multiply decimals using the same strategies you use to multiply whole numbers. What is 0.9 x 3? 0.91 place x 30 places 2.7Count 1 place from the right to place the decimal point. To place the decimal point in the product, count the total number of digits after the decimal point in each factor. Then, count in that many places from the right of the product to place the decimal point.
