Objectives 1. Identify the purpose, features, and functions of the CSU/DSU, Modem, and ISDN adapters. 2. Compare and contrast packet switching and circuit switching. 3. List the characteristics, requirements, and appropriate situations for ISDN connection services. 4. Identify the basic characteristics for ISDN, SONET, SDH, T1/E1, T3/E3, OCx, DSL, and Cable Modems. 5. Given a scenario, troubleshoot the serial line.
