Theme: Love  This sonnet deals with the love of man for a woman. He is about to die and he is informing his wife to live her life without him. He feels that her life would be filled with sorrow if she doesn’t forget about him. His love for her is so strong that he is willing to give up their love for each other for her happiness. This is a universal theme that can be relatable to a majority of audiences.
