S H A P E S Pyramids and Prisms! ! By Mikaylah Hamilton 5CT.

Pyramids! A pyramid is a solid shape. A pyramid is made from a base and an apex.

Pyramids! There are 3 types of pyramids. There is a square-based pyramid, pentagonal pyramid and a triangular- based pyramid.

Bases!

Pyramid! If the Apex is directly above the base it is called a right shape. If the apex is not directly above the base it is called a oblique.

Right Pyramid! Oblique Pyramid!

Polyhedrons! These are some of the Polyhedrons. The Green one is called a Tetrahedron. The Orange one is called a Cube. The Red one is called a Dodecahedron. The Blue one is called a Octahedron. The Yellow one is called a Icosahedron.

Pyramids! Pentagonal pyramid. Triangular Pyramid. Square-based Pyramid.

Information About A Square- based Pyramid! X8 sides, X5 vertices and X5 faces.

X6 Sides X4 Vertices X4 Faces Information about Triangular-Based Pyramids!

Pentagonal-Based Pyramid! X10 Sides X6 Vertices X6 Faces Information about a Pentagonal-based Pyramid!

Regular Vs Irregular! Regular!Irregular! A regular Shape is a Shape That has a normal base. This a photo of a regular shape. A irregular shape is a shape that has not got a normal base. This a photo of a irregular shape.
