The story is a variation of “Leyla and Mecnun” and “Romeo and Juliet”.

One day an old man gave the Shah’s wife an apple seed and the Monk’s wife a pear seed. Two women shared the fruit of the trees and the Shah had a son, the Monk had a daughter. Aslı was also longing for Kerem… Aslı’s father said Aslı died and they moved from Isfahan to another city so that Aslı and Kerem can’t get married. Kerem learnt the truth and travelled endlessy with his best friend Sofu playing his saz and singing songs. Aslı was also longing for Kerem…
