NTHMP Annual Meeting Honolulu, HI 2007 State of Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management March 25-31, “Tsunami Awareness Week” NOAA Weather Radios distributed to the communities of Ketchikan, Seward, Sitka, Cold Bay and Sand Point. The radios are placed in critical facilities such as schools, fire departments, hospitals, etc. The DVD “Ocean Fury” distributed to schools. Included in this distribution were copies to the Alaska Tsunami Education Program (AETP). ATEP is a federally funded program directed towards tsunami education for students K-12.
