Raising a child on your own. BY: MARQUITA HOLLAND

Introduction  Dayron age 9  Mark age 3  Dayron father helps me provide for his child.  Mark father did not help and later passed away.  Mark was one when his father passed in 2012.

Emotions  I was cried and was sad  Never experience this before  Mark’s father side was no help  My friend on social media

Did my best  I raised Mark to the best of my ability  I struggled sometimes  Had a good support system  We are doing well  Smart and intelligent child  Mark ask for his father sometimes  He has a male role model

Stressful times  Stress and cry  Not sad just disappointed  I worked, school, and so did my children  Childcare was paid for  Still made a way to make my children happy  Daren help me financially  Lack time with Dayron.

Parent talk  Daren went to jail in 2006  Daren came home in 2011  It was hard for us to get along  Sat down and talk our child and how we were hurting him  We get along better now and Dayron is happier  Marquita and Daren are best friends now.
