We Need Your Help!

9925 million people suffered from hunger in 2263 million are all from Sub-Saharan Africa and North and Eastern part of Africa. 113.6 % of the world population lives in hunger.

DDemocratic Republic of Congo has the most hungry people in the world. OOnly 2% of their land is arable( usable for farming). MMost of their food is high in price because of no land is farmable, and not many people can afford food.

GGebisa Ejeta was a plant breeder & he also studied genetics. TThis method of planting helped millions of hungry children in Africa. HHe could find a way to plant sorghum and make it last through droughts and he could make clones of these plants.

 Plant Breeding involves pollen and genetic engineering. Plant Breeding kind’ve makes plants become pet-like.  Plant Breeding has been around since the start of civilization. When you plant breed, you can make a plant suitable for a specific environment.  They can do this on animals, food, and other things.

IIn 2010, 1 in every 7 households lived in hunger. EEvery 3.6 seconds, a person dies from hunger, 75% of them are children. 22 billion people are poor.

 We are the country that everyone looks up to.  If we spread the word maybe more and more countries would help.  We can be the role models in the world.  Another reason, it isn’t fixed is because we don’t have to face this in our lifes.

 These changes can be started at Northside and end up with many changes to Africa and other countries.  They have the same rights as us and they deserve more.  If we don’t help, WHO WILL?

CChild Soldiers and Joseph Kony. NNo home, No Shelter. FFood Crisis in 2011 DDiseases NNo Hospital Care AAnd Many More

 You can feel free to ask any questions or raise your hand and answer the questions I provide.

 Why yes, this is the end of my project, but not the end of hunger in the Democratic Republic of Congo and your journey can help stop hunger in Africa.
