1 Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. IV. He desires to see the positive things happen in this world. 3 You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as men rejoice when dividing the plunder. 4 For as in the day of Midian's defeat, you have shattered the yoke that burdens them, the bar across their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor. 5 Every warrior's boot used in battle and every garment rolled in blood will be destined for burning, will be fuel for the fire.

IV. He desires to see the positive things happen in this world. 6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this. (Isa 9:3-7)

IV. He desires to see the positive things happen in this world. At least three: A.  Rejoice 歡喜快樂 (Isa 9:3) B.  Shatter our yoke, remove our burden 重 擔脫落 (Isa 9:4) C.  Everlasting Peace 和平降臨 (Isa 9:5-7)

This is our God 17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. (Jam 1:17)

A. Is our living quarters more upkeep or seriously deteriorating? B. When we wake up after long saddening happenings around us, should we be joyful? C. Do we suppose to honor our fellow citizens when they seem to be down and trodden and despised?
