5 Degrees an FFA Member Can Earn Based on Individual Accomplishments

Discovery Degree Be enrolled in ag class Have dues paid Participate in at least 1 FFA activity Have knowledge of ag careers Be familiar with FFA Program of Activities

Greenhand Degree Be enrolled in Ag Have plans for SAEP Learn – Creed, Motto, Salute, Mission Describe the meaning of FFA Emblem Code of Ethics Knowledge of History

Chapter Degree Must have received the Greenhand degree 180 hours of ag class Participated in at least 3 chapter activities Earned $150 on SAEP Lead group discussion 5 parliamentary abilities

State Degree Must have Chapter Degree Been a member for 2 years 2 yrs. of ag (360 hrs.) Earn $1000 in SAEP or work 300 hours 10 parliamentary abilities Speech on ag topic Serve as chapter officer or a member of a committee 5 activities above the chapter level

American Degree Must have State Degree 3 yrs. of ag – (540 hours) Have graduated from High School High Level SAEP – $7,500 invested or earned Record of outstanding leadership “C” or better grades in HS
