Medieval Times: Feudalism / Manorialism Feudalism – Class system based on land ownership (COMPARE: British Feudalism with Japanese Feudalism) Manorialism – Economic System based on a lord owning the land and everyone else working it for the good of the manor (like a southern plantation) Black Plague = Death of many Europeans due to unsanitary conditions and lack of medical knowledge (population decreased)
