GUIDING PRINCIPLES AS A RESULT OF DISCUSSIONS New Names: Should show clear mission delineation between the comprehensive two-year colleges and universities. Should be sensitive to telling a common story (mission) while retaining local identity Naming conventions should be kept simple Convention should keep possible shortened vernacular versions in mind
