ARTSTOR Introduction: In its first year, ARTstor is a new and growing database. It was released this year with 300,000 images, associated descriptions and software to view and store images. ARTstor was launched by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to provide helpful and coherent collections of images and data to educational and scholarly users.
