WHY WRITE A BUSINESS PLAN? Whether you are starting up a business on your own, purchasing an existing business or taking over the family business. Any prospective entrepreneur needs a guide to follow.

Company Description Explains the types of company and gives its history if it already exists. Tells whether it is a manufacturing, retail or service, or other type of business.

Summary A brief one- three page overview of the total business plan.

Products and Service Plan Describes the product and or service; points out any unique features. Explains why people will buy the product or service.
