Celebration of New Year Eve is a tradition in Macedonia. The preparation starts in the beginning of December. Every shop-window is in white-red combination, with a little of green. On every corner you can find a New Year tree and decorations on sale. Squares, streets, bridges and main buildings will be decorated with lights, stars and candles.

Everything will be like in magic fairy-tales, especially in the evening. The most important thing is that people become more polite, happy and generous. They hope that everything that was not so good, unfortunate things and sadness will stay in the “old year” and will find happiness, good health and prosperity in the new one. That’s why the celebration is completed with wealthy prepared food and drinks.

The New Year Eve celebrates in restaurants, hotels, on the city squares with local bands or in home atmosphere. The common thing is that everywhere will be very festive an happy. In the midnight when the pointers close and fireworks light up the sky, we’ll hug each other with the best wishes for happiness and prosperity, love and understanding.

We want everything good come through! WE WISH YOU A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
