What is Assistive Technology? Assistive Technology is any device or service that is provided to a student with a disability that will increase their ability to participate in activities.

Assistive Technology Device Any item, piece of equipment or product system. There is a continuum of devices, from low tech to high tech.

Assistive Technology Service: Evaluate children with disabilities Acquire, adapt, repair and replace equipment Training and assistance for a child with a disability or the childs family Training for other professionals
