Madrid Precious Time Pilot Project an important milestone in tourism innovation for 4 main reasons For UNWTO this project is an important milestone in tourism innovation for 4 main reasons : 1.It’s an exemplar model of public-private cooperation. 2.It’s a collaborative model that goes beyond the obvious as it integrates representatives from the world of arts, handicrafts, hospitality, retail, technology and many others. 3.It aims to create more than a tourism product; it aims to create a memorable visitor experience which will surely add value to the destination and to tourists; and finally 4.It brings together the best of Spain’s and Madrid’s tradition, modernity and innovation.

The Idea of HES Help tourism sector SMEs to increase the energy efficiency and promote the use of renewable energies. Help hotels reduce their operational costs, increase competitiveness and sustainability and assist in mitigating the sector’s CO2 emissions. Respond to European Union environmental priorities and the UNWTO Davos Process on Tourism and Climate Change of 2007.

Innovation Hotel  Landscaping with native plants saves water.  Solar power reduces carbon emissions.  Green roofs improve the thermal performance of hotels.  Rainwater harvesting reduces potable water demand.  Green transport options help reduce environmental impact.  Modular buildings reduce on-site construction.
