NSBE Mission  To increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers of excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.

Need Money ?  Our organization currently provides scholarships to students based on community service, essays, needs, etc.  We are even offering book vouchers to help students buy the books they need for class.

Need help in your classes  Our academic excellence chair can help you find the right tutor for your problems.  We can help you get envolved with a study group made up of students who are taking the same classes that you are.  The idea is that everyone involved contributes a little of their information and knowledge and gain much more as an end result.

Need help finding a job  NSBE currently has a Regional Fall Conference in October, and a National Convention in March.  Both conferences provide job fairs from almost all professional fields and professional corporations including:  Apple, Dell, Oracle, General Electric, Boeing, Kraft, Ford, Honda, General Motors, Dow, etc.

Is NSBE For You?  YES it is.  We have members from all engineering, science, and technology based backgrounds.  We even have students that are not in these programs majoring in business, communications, education, law, etc.  Our organization is open to everyone regardless of race, sex, religion, ethnic background, etc.

What does NSBE have planned for this year?  Social events with other chapters, such as BBQs  Basketball tournament  Open Mic Nights  Technical Quiz Bowl for high school students at Tech Day, using in house software.  Community Service Projects with local schools to get students motivated to get into a college, and to tutor them in their current classes.  Black History Month Quiz Bowl  Raffles and Bake Sales.  End of the School Year BBQ in April.  Plus many more activities.
