Business Case for Hydraulic Hybrids System uses existing technology in a new way – Hydraulic pumps and motors Trucks ability to continue operations in the event of system failure 15% premium over standard trucks Grant funds from the CEC will cover 100% of “premium” for hybrid system Estimated 25% fuels savings Estimated doubling of brake lining life System uses existing technology in a new way – Hydraulic pumps and motors Trucks ability to continue operations in the event of system failure 15% premium over standard trucks Grant funds from the CEC will cover 100% of “premium” for hybrid system Estimated 25% fuels savings Estimated doubling of brake lining life
