Mi vacación The McCoys need a 2 week vacation. Where should we go? Money and time of year are not important. Kevin likes to go camping, hunting, and fishing in the country. Terri loves the beauty of the mountains and the tranquility of the ocean. Molly loves the action and bright lights of the city. We all love certain aspects of the beach, the mountains, the country and the city. Help us decide where to go.

Assignment You will be given a certain geographic region (beach, country, etc) Find an authentic Spanish speaking place to visit that corresponds to the region. In Spanish, using many of the vocabulary words from pages and , give a minimum of 10 reasons why we should visit your location and/or why we should not go to a different location. You will present your argument to class, using illustrations (powerpoint, posters, etc). You may bullet your arguments or write them in paragraph form. The teacher may/may not ask questions regarding your arguments.

Grading This project will be worth 30 points. 10 points ---- research on chosen location. Specific activities associated with chosen location mentioned. Not generic activities. 10 points----Visuals/preparedness. If doing a powerpoint, a minimum of 5 slides, appropriate and authentic illustrations. 10 points ---- Spanish language. Minimun number of mistakes, fluency, ability to answer questions, etc.

¡OLE! 15 points (which may be placed on any test given throughout the rest of the year) will be given to the chosen vacation!
