Janusz Korczak – Polish- Jewish educator, children's author, and pediatrician. After spending many years working as director of an orphanage in Warsaw, he refused freedom and stayed with his orphans when the institution was sent from the Ghetto to Treblinka extermination camp, during the Grossaktion Warsaw of Patron of the school

Czarnocin – a small village, whose inhabitants; are all farmers; speciazing in bell pepper growing.

Kusaki – a celebration to mark the end of carnival. Disguised teachers and parents visit villagers’ houses, dance sing and get small gifts.
