Editing 1.Look for correct punctuation. 2.Look for fragments or run-on sentences. 3.Avoid contractions. 4.Avoid homonym errors. – Their, there, they’re – To, too, two – Do, due – Whether, weather

Editing Avoid slang or text message abbreviations. Avoid beginning a sentence with a conjunction. Avoid using words such as “that” and “even” mulitple times in a sentence. Do not use the words “a lot,” “stuff,” or “said.”

Revising 1.Does their writing make sense? Write comments to help them revise. 2.What can they add to make their paper better?
