5 55 KMSI - KM FRAMEWORK

6 66 Seven Audit Criteria Categories Cat 1.0:KM Leadership Cat 2.0: Processes Cat 3.0: People Cat 4.0: Technology Cat 5.0: Knowledge (Development) Processes Cat 6.0: Learning and Innovation Cat 7.0: KM Outcomes

7 Levels of KM Readiness KM implementation is continuously evaluated and improved Maturity Refinement Introduction (expansion) Initiation Reaction KM is mainstreamed in the institution KM practices in some areas Not aware of what KM is and its importance in enhancing productivity and competitiveness Beginning to recognize the need to manage knowledge Note: The ranges are based on the assumption that there will still be a total of 42 questions (7 categories) in the questionnaire and there will be overlap of rating scales; e.g., formula: lower limit for maturity level = 4.5 x No. of Qs; higher limit = 5 x No. of Qs… and so on.
