Recycling at Braitling Primary School

We collected cans from the school yard, playground, home and street.

We bring ours cans to school for recycling.

We put the cans in our collection tub at school.

We reuse the cans by using them for pencil tins.

…making toy skittles

…tin can telephones

…and stilts!!!

Worm Farm at Braitling Primary School

We collect our recess and lunch scraps for the worm farm.

We take our food scraps to the feed the worms each day.

We empty the food scraps into the worm farm.

Worms eat anything that has lived. They don’t like orange peel, meat or garlic.

Worms castings make great soil for your garden!

Red composting worms make great bait worms.

Most importantly… Worm farms are fun!!!
