I chose Triceratops for my project By Macky I hope you enjoy

Diet A triceratops is a herbivore so that means it only eats plants, like low growths, palms, cycads and ferms. They eat low growths because they are small so that means they can not reach tall trees.

Dinosaur family The triceratops is a member of the Ceratopsidae family, Styracosaurus is also in this family.

Period Triceratops lived in the late cretaceous period. cretaceous means the third and last period of the Mesozoic Era, from about 144 to 65 million years ago.

Their body features They have a very large head. It can be up to 1/3 of its body length It has three horns on its head, one on the snout and one above each eye about 1 metre long It has a short bony frill at the back of its skull It can weight 6-12 tonnes The triceratops is about three metres tall and 9 metres long

Did yo u know?? 1* That their head is about 1/3 of their body length 2* Triceratops's neck frill spanned 6 ft (1.8 m) 3*Triceratops means “three horned face” 4*Triceratops was preyed upon by T-Rex

THE END I hope you enjoyed my triceratops project and thank you for watching
