Presentation transcript:

Let’s Get Moving! How do things move?

How do we move? How do we move our arms and legs?

Energy helps us to move. We get energy from food and water…

Using energy we can… PUSH

We can also use our energy to… PULL

What happens when we pull… A rubber band?

What happens when we push… A spring together?

What helps to move non living things? How do cars move?

Cars use energy too… But it’s not food, it’s petrol.

How do toys move?

Toys use energy too… It’s not food or petrol, sometimes they use batteries!
