Introduction Purpose of survey: to determine the level of interest in moving ahead with the cataloguing on demand of remote e-resources. Of 24 colleges, 16 responded.

Survey questions 1 a. Do you wish to have remote e-resources catalogued? Yes:15 No:1 10 respondents indicated “e-books” as top priority for cataloguing. However, analysis showed no clear consensus on priorities for other types of e-resources listed on the survey.

Questions contd. 1b. Are you interested in loading records for e-books purchased through COOL shared NetLibrary at a cost? Yes:13 No:3

Questions contd. 1c. Are you interested in loading records for all e-books purchased for use by your college only, at a cost? Yes: 12 No: 4

Questions contd. 2. How do you handle e-resources now? 11 currently do not catalogue these. Others are using: E-Bookmarks; Pathfinders; vendor records sets; Serials Solutions; Librarydel.icio.us account; and some are locally loading records into their systems, or, through Bibliocentre

Questions contd. 3a. At what level would you like them to be catalogued? (level may vary by type of e-resource) 11 chose level 7 (brief); 8 chose full level.
