Introductions….

Hope and Aims for the Session  To understand what makes a young person vulnerable  Explore how to engage young people both in face to face contacts and as service providers  Consider how to influence commissioning and service delivery

 Identify one or two vulnerability factors and write them onto a “Post It” note Vulnerability Factors??

Things that make a young person vulnerable  Homelessness  Unemployment  Drug use  Gang membership  Lack of education/ information  Lack of self-esteem.  Immigration status.  Mental health  Other

 In groups pick a theme where you have experience working.  Discuss how you have successfully worked and engaged with that group.  Include tools or ways of working can be used Sharing Best Practice
