 Hernan Cortes was a Spanish nobleman and lived in Cuba. He decided to sail to Mexico in search of wealth and adventure. He also was eager to take control of the Aztec tribe.

 Hernan Cortes’s motive was to find riches. This happened, but with all the gold his soldiers were carrying through the water some of them drowned.

 Hernan’s dates of exploration was He only sailed for two years because he claimed the Aztecs land for Spain after he defeated them. Hernan had took the Emperor Prisoner a little before he claimed land

 Hernan’s claim to fame was that he killed the Aztec tribe. Some of them already were killed by small pox a contagious disease. He decided to attack the rest of the tribe so he did.

  He killed the whole Aztec tribe  Only sailed for two years  Captured the Emperor Prisoner when he got to the Aztec island  Some soldiers drowned from all the gold they were carrying in the sea.  He was a nobleman  He carried the disease small pox to the Aztec Interesting Facts
