La cultura hispana para el examen del semestre Spanish is most closely related to the ancient language of Latin.

El dinero O México usa el peso. O España usa el euro. O Guatemala usa el quetzal. O Puerto Rico usa el dólar. O Costa Rica usa el colón. O Currency exchange rates can fluctuate (can go up or down) on a daily basis.

Para viajar O When it’s summer in the northern hemisphere, it’s winter in the southern hemisphere. O Simón Bolivar was “El Libertador” and liberated many South American countries such as: Venezuela, Bolivia, and Colombia from Spanish Rule. O The ancient Aztecs of México kept track of time using a huge carved stone calendar known as the Sun Stone. O Huipil is the word for colorful, hand-woven blouses by descendants of Spanish immigrants. O Spanish-speaking countries use the Celsius scale to measure temperature. O The Running of the Bulls is a popular festival in España.
