A SEM image of a cell-seeded PLG scaffold. ( Figure 1 - Scanning electronic photomicrograph of PLGA microspheres obtained by the multiple emulsion W/O/W method. Bar = 5 µm. ( METHODS -Fabrication of polylactide-co-glycolide (PLG) into microspheres prior to forming scaffolds from microspheres. -To achieve proper kinetics, and attenuate protein release, EGF was first incorporated into PLG microspheres used for scaffold fabrication
