Equality in the Czech Republic / at GOODWILL College Men x Women - Vast majority of women work full-time (conditions for part-time work are improving) - Some statistics show that women get paid lower salary at the than men; it might be caused by the fact that women work at lower positions – however, number of women working in managerial positions is increasing -Favourable social policy on maternity leave - 7 months - 80 % of the salary - women (men) can stay up to 3 years with their child at home with the financial support of the state and guarantee of the same workplace

Equal Opportunities for Handicapped -Some companies get subsidy from the state to support employment of handicapped -New buildings have to be accessible Equal Opportunities for Minorities -Roma people, Vietnamese, Slovak, Ucraines -„Positive discrimination“ (Roma student at our College – tution paid by the state)
