What is the purpose of our church? What about Evangelism? What Does Christ Want?

What kind of church are we? Protestant Bible Believing

“And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “ All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19   Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

13 for “ WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED 13 for “ WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.” 14 How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? 15 How will they preach unless they are sent? What kind of church are we? Protestant Bible Believing Are we Evangelical?

What does it means to share the Gospel? St. Francis of Assisi “preach the gospel always, if necessary use words.”

“It is no use walking anywhere to preach unless our walking is our preaching.” Rock it, but don’t block it! Word!

Do you believe in Heaven and Hell? Francis Chan, Erasing Hell Well done, My good and faithful servant. Depart from Me, I never knew you.

Our flesh is weak! The World wants your $$. Satan hates you. He wants you dead and in hell.

Gospel in a nutshell “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:20-21 (NASB)

Questions for you: Do you believe you are an ambassador? Would you be willing to let your light shine? Would you be willing to initiate a spiritual conversation? Would you be willing to share scripture?

Get the ball rolling Do you know for sure that if you were to die today that you would go to heaven? Why should God allow you into heaven? Did you know that God wants you to know for sure? Would you like to see what the Bible says?

You can not transfer emotion. You can not make someone believe. It is the job of the Holy Spirit to move people.

Scriptures to Share John 3:16 – the Love of God ”For God so loved the world, that He gave His   only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Scriptures to Share Romans 3:23 – Problem of Sin “…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”

Scriptures to Share Romans 6:23 – Solution for Sin “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Scriptures to Share 1 Peter 3:18 – What Christ did “For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

Scriptures to Share Ephesians 2:8-9 – Grace not Works “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9   not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

Scriptures to Share Romans 10:9– Your response “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
