Know Where to Ride 5  Bike lanes and paths are all around the city, use them.

See the Signs 6  There are many signs indicating cyclists where to ride and what to do, it’s important to follow them.  These type of signs include: Bike Traffic Lines, and Designated Bike Paths.

Use Your Hands 7  Use hand signals when changing course (point in the direction you want to go).  When in doubt at intersections, dismount and walk.

Be a Defensive Biker 8  You may know the rules, but maybe the people around you aren’t aware of them.

` 22 THE DANGERS OF T Fact: More than 31 million people in the U.S.A skip breakfast everyday. Breakfast is the most important after sleeping you need to get back your energy. Lunch is to keep your energy after a long day. Dinner if you don’t eat dinner it may cause you to have a hard time sleeping.

* Sleeping is important, everyday you have to sleep at least 9 to 10 hours. If you don’t sleep, you’re less aware of your surroundings, It’s also proven that you work slower. 23
