BY MEGAN MASON Using the Internet for Assessments

Using Online Assessments Assessment found on-line can be used as both self- assessments/practice for students and graded assessments. For self-assessments/practice, send your students to the site and let them work away. For graded assessments, a little bit more work is required. Either way, using online assessments allows your students to express their knowledge through a variety of formats.

Graded Assessments Have your students complete the online assessment and save their work.  To save work have students tab the Print Screen key on the keyboard.  Students can then paste a picture of their work into a word document with their name on it.  Have students save their documents into the Hand In folder on the network. It is helpful if you make a subfolder with your name on it ahead of time.
