El Nino, La Nina: The return of the hot and cold!!! Mikaela Cline Science Mr. Shepard

What are El Ninos and, La Ninas? La Ninas – cooler in tem. in the tropical of Pacific ocean. El Ninos- unusually warm temperatures

What conditions cause El Ninos and, La Ninas? Through the tropical response of rain- producing convection- El Nino rainfall deficits in the eastern equatorial Pacific –La Nina

How long do El Ninos and, La Ninas last? On average 9-12 months

When do this phenomenon happen? Often occurs every 3-5 years

What of Damage do they do? Sever weather is likely to be further north and west during La Nina and El Nino.

La Nina And El Nino!!! most people havent heard about La Nina and El Nino!!
