3 Problem Telenor R&D assigned this project task because they needed a system to support knowledge management. An important purpose of knowledge management is capturing the knowledge created by the researchers as they do the RESEARCH WORK and make it available to colleagues.

5 CONTRIBUTION A portal application: The portal application consists of -user functionality: -pointers to resources and information related to research work. -a discussions forum. -an editor tool: -give quality assurance support.

13 SUMMARY The project is successful and worthwhile. –The Telenor R&D has got a portal application that will aid them in their daily work. Further work: –The search engine –Usability testing –Assessment on making use of the portal
