Descriptive Writing – First Practice Take out a blank piece of notebook paper and number 1-20. Please know you will eventually be submitting this to turnitin – so if you want to start by typing this – feel free! It is up to you! Go through the 20 prompts. You need to complete the prompt. If you are not told to use a specific number of words you need to write a complete sentence for your response. Whether you are writing one word or a full sentence, be sure you are thinking about strong description – bring the image to life! Focus on the idea of showing and not just telling.
