CLASS® Compressible Liquid Adaptive Suspension System The Next Generation Suspension LIQUIDSPRING CLASS® Compressible Liquid Adaptive Suspension System June 1, 2018

What is CLASS® ? A patented suspension system utilizing a compressible fluid as the spring medium. Replaces conventional vehicle springs and shock absorbers with a strut that performs the spring/damping function and utilizes an electronic control system. 2

CLASS® Benefits Provides significant improvement in ride quality, handling, stability, and safety versus existing/traditional suspensions. Additionally, it maintains a constant ride height, by adjusting for load changes. 3

How CLASS® Achieves Benefits The system automatically and instantaneously varies spring stiffness and/or damping seamlessly to optimize the suspension performance for driving and road conditions without driver intervention. 4

Stability Control 5

Vibration Dose Value 6

How CLASS® Changes Spring Stiffness Low Stiffness: Rate valve allows compressible fluid to move between the strut and volume. High Stiffness: Rate valve prevents compressible fluid from moving between the strut and volume. 7

M2-106 CLASS® Suspension Suspension 5-Link suspension with lateral track bar. Heavy duty control arm and strut bushings. Integral mount for height sensors. Does not require modification of exhaust system. 8

CLASS® Strut Strut Hydraulic connection to secondary fluid volume via a short hydraulic line. Integral rebound stop. Pre-filled with compressible fluid. 9

CLASS® Secondary Volume 2nd Fluid Volume Attached to frame as unitized assembly. Projection distance from outside of frame less than rear spring shackle. Pre-filled with compressible fluid. 10

CLASS® Power Module Power Module - Control System Contains pump, motor, manifolds, filters, valves, low pressure reservoir and ECU. Centrally mounted on inside of vehicle frame, pre-filled with compressible fluid. One hydraulic line going to each suspension corner for leveling vehicle. Automotive grade wire harness with sealed connectors. 11

CLASS® Electronic Control Electronic Control Unit ECU continuously processes vehicle data (speed, steering, height, and brake) 1,000 times per second, which controls spring rates and ride height. 12

CLASS® Driver Interface User-friendly driver interface provides means to change system ride modes and heights; and presents system diagnostic information. 13

CLASS® FEA Validation Component FEA Axle Clamp Group Hanger 16

CLASS® Spring/Damping Validation Component cycle testing on seals, spring, damping, and power module 17

CLASS® Tuning Validation System Tuning Data acquisition hardware and software used to evaluate changes in vehicle behavior. Effect of changes to spring and damping can be objectively evaluated. Responsiveness and accuracy of leveling can be tuned. 18

CLASS® Suspension Validation On Vehicle Durability Structural durability test at proving grounds per standardized Altoona bus test requirements for 5 year/150K mileage. Provided durability and reliability information on wearable components and environmental performance. 19
