Australian Contribution to RDA Australia has been central to the design, development and success of the RDA Significant Australian influence on the definition of international standards and data protocol agreements Concrete demonstration of fundamental importance of accessing insights, policies, practices and knowledge from Australia Contribution to global (rather than transatlantic) nature of community

The heart of RDA … 90 groups Interest Groups Working Groups develop and implement tools, policy, practices & products for data management that are adopted and used by projects, organisations, communities TIMING: 12-18 MONTHS TOTAL: 34 Working Groups focus on solving a specific data sharing problem and identifying what kind of infrastructure needs to be built. TIMING: as long as group is active TOTAL: 56 Interest Groups RECOMMENDATIONS: Concrete deliverables - “Running code”, tools, standards, etc. OUTPUT: Possibly case statements for new WGs, guidelines, best practice, etc. www.rd-alliance.org @resdatall CC BY-SA 4.0
