On your paper, Draw a line with with point R above it. STEP 1: Draw a line through point R and the line at an angle to create point S. STEP 2: With the compass on point S, draw an arc that intersects both lines. STEP 3: With the same compass setting, do it again from point R. STEP 4: Set the compass width the lower arc and then move it to the upper arc. STEP 5: Mark off a point that intersects the upper arc. Call this point T. STEP 6: Draw a straight line through S and T.
