-unsaturated, saturated, trans fats Helps body develop Three types -unsaturated, saturated, trans fats Unsaturated is good for health -found in olive oil, peanut oil, canola oil, albacore tuna, salmon Too much saturated & trans fats can raise blood cholesterol level -found in meat, butter, cheese, milk -found in margarine, snack, baked, fried foods Building blocks of hormones
