RI2 Integrate Objectives The objective of RI2integrate project is to accelerate macro-regional embeddedness of RIs in the Danube Region with involving all interest groups along Quadruple Helix (QH) to develop framework conditions of RI utilization. Territorial needs: 1) industry research gap (CZ, HR, RO) 2) lack of networking along QH(AT, HU, SLO) 3) lack of embeddedness of RIs (all) 4) limited access to facilities for SMEs (HU, CZ, SRB) 5) limited innovation capacity (HR, SRB) 6) tools for just some issues (all) 7) limited or missing involvement of public authorities (all) The embeddedness builds upon 3 main pillars as 1) business ecosystem development for SMEs 2) PPI with the involvement of the government for boosting innovation 3) wider community involvement by dissemination 7

Steps to achieve RI related business ecosystem development WP3 – Structure devepoment (FHJ) Identification of RI infrastrucure's embeddedness Expert groups' development Specific focus definition WP4 – RI integration tool (CTRIA) PPI utilization RI related business ecosystem development Community awareness raising tool for RI utilization WP5 – Piloting the tools (SIC) PPI procedure implementation Science Park concept implementation Community involvement piloting WP6 – Measures of durability (DAS) Joint Action Plan Development Knowledge transfer trainings RI Integration Committee development 8
