Team Work The Turtle & The Rabbit

Story Morals Slow & Steady: slow and steady wins the race. Fast and consistent: fast & consistent will always beat the slow and steady interior proficiency: First, identify your interior proficiency and then change the playing field to suit your interior proficiency. Team work: It's good to be individually brilliant and to have strong core competencies; but unless you're able to work in a team and harness each other's core competencies, you'll always perform below par because there will always be situations at which you'll do poorly and someone else does well.

Reasons for Creating a Team Getting the benefit of diversity Involving different skills in the team Encouraging innovation & creativity Getting the maximum benefit of each person’s talent. Sharing different experiences will lead to better achievements in shorter period.

Benefits of Teamwork Less efforts Less time Better achievement More benefits Makes it easier for everyone Different solutions in different ways.

How to create a team? Specify why a team is needed (what task?) Choose a good team leader who can gather and guide the team Choose the team members as per their skills in the task they are needed for. Provide the tools & proper atmosphere Provide a clear plan they work on

How to maintain a team work? Focus on a specific clear goal Encourage the spirit of sharing & responsibility. Set goals as per team members capability & talent so they don’t feel dispirit. Reward & appreciate achievements & discuss failure reasons for future improvements

Conclusion Never give up when faced with failure. Fast and consistent will always beat slow and steady. Work to your competencies. Compete against the situation, not against a competitor. Grouping resources and working as a team will always beat individual performers

Let’s go and build stronger teams!
