In Spanish, most adjectives have a masculine and feminine form. masculine feminine Usually ends in -o Usually ends in -a rojo roja

Masculine adjectives are used to describe masculine nouns. El sombrero rojo Feminine adjectives are used to describe feminine nouns. La falda negra. The “o’s” with “o’s” and “a’s” with “a’s” theory is NOT 100% true. There are some rules you MUST LEARN!!

Adjectives that end in –e match both genders. La bufanda verde. El suéter verde. Most adjectives that end in a consonant match both genders. La bufanda azul el vestido azul

When talking about something that is plural, the adjective that describes it must be PLURAL as well. To make a word plural: if it ends with a vowel: add –”s” if it ends with a consonant: add –”es” Las bufandas rosadas Unos calcetines grises. Unos sombreros rojos.
