1.A small farmer in Honduras grows a banana on a plantation. 2.When his banana is almost ready, he sells it to the owner of the plantation for 1 cent. 3.The owner of the plantation calls a local transporter to pick up the banana. 4.The local transporter delivers the banana to an airplane. 5.The airplane transports the banana to an airport in North America. 6.When the price of bananas are low on the stock market, a negotiator buys the banana. 7.The negotiator resells the banana to an importer. 8.The importer resells the banana to a large food distribution network and moves the banana from one storage location to the next. 9.A number of days or weeks after being harvested, the banana finally arrives in your supermarket. 10.Youre hungry and you buy the banana for 50 cents.
